The system parameters tab is used to setup the more general parameters which NIMS needs to run. These can be broken down into 4 groups:
- System Parameters – These are the general parameters specific to NIMS which need to be set.
- General Information – These are regional settings.
- Dispatch Area Setup – This is very similar to the Nursery Structure allowing you to set up information for delivery of your plants to specific plantation areas linked to your customer register.
- Archive Batches – As your time line progresses you are going to want to close off batches to speed up processing. Closed batches do not appear in many of the production menus allowing for quick selection of active batches.
